when did we all grow up?
this past weekend i spent a bit of time with my family. my little brother was ordained an elder on sunday. i know i keep saying this but he isn't little anymore...i'm having a problem writing this post because all of my thoughts are consumed with this:
"there's no way i'm this old?"
"we were all playing wiffle ball in the backyard. yesterday."
"mom! he's touching me!!!!"
"so...one day when i'm older"
well... who am i really kidding those are still things we say, but i am really excited for the future and to see where it takes all of my brothers and sister. we are very blessed to have the support of such an amazing mom and dad and we owe all of our success to them and the values and teachings they taught us.

The Oil Bowl
This past weekend I was able to attend my brother Tyler's last offical High School Football game. It was great and it was awesome because it was the 74th annual Oil Bowl previously called The Red River Shootout. Basically it is an all-star game between Texas and Oklahoma high school football players. Tyler was called on Thursday night to see if he would be interested in filling in for one of the QB's because he was unable to play due to an injury. Tyler of course said yes and my dad and him drove up the next day.
It was so much fun being able to watch him play again, but before the game started my lovely and adorable mother, older brother Robbie and myself indulged ourselves in some good ol' Skee Ball at the neighborhood family fun center "The Plex" in Wichita Falls, TX. Needless to say Robbie and I were pretty stoked...I mean really a place called "the Plex" what isn't fun about that. Oh were we wrong...The smell and run down everything made us rethink our decision immediately! We decided to play some skee ball (you really can't go wrong with skee ball...right?) and I have the pictures to prove it :)
Then we went outside to checkout the go-cart situation...Saw one too many collisions and one pretty impressive T-Bone and decided it'd be more fun to watch :)
