Gun's & iFly

This week has been pretty eventful to say the least for Julius and I. We went to the West Desert to shoot some clay pigeons and have some fun. Then we went indoor sky-diving up in Ogden called I Fly. This was a blast and now more than ever I want to do the "real" thing. So just to give you a visual of what the sky-diving was like it's basically a big cylinder with huge jets that blow air upward to get the effect of free falling. Unfortunately we were unable to bring our camera into the chamber, but we did get the video I Fly provided (which is way cool)...so some how I'm going to have to find a way to that video onto the blog.
.4o Springfield Pistol
Now this was fun
12 Gauge "Bernelli"
It was pretty heavy... So worth the bruise I got on my shoulder

I got 2 bulls eye with the Riffle
You could say I was pretty stoked.
This was us right before we entered the chamber.

Melyssa and Eric's Wedding

This past weekend I went up to Vancouver, Washington to see my best friend Melyssa get married. I love this girl to death and was so grateful I was able to see her be sealed for time and all eternity to Eric. So I left Salt Lake on Friday around 11ish and got into the Portland airport around 12. Melyssa was there to pick me up and it was so fun to catch up again and laugh like old times. After we got to her house we decided to leave again to do some "shopping"... When we got back her other best friend Audra was there with her Mom. They were such fun and we all hit it off right away. So after getting some laughs in... Audra and I took Melyssa "shopping" together. (Audra is married too FYI) Poor Eric was kind of neglected for a while, but we had to have our girl time. The next day was the Wedding and we all scrambled together to get things ready. The Temple was beautiful and so was their sealing. I met my Grandma at the lunch-in and it was SOOOO great seeing her. We had so much fun together laughing, and driving around looking at all the beautiful homes...except for the ginormous purple mansion and we decided it was the ugliest home we had ever seen...It was so great spending time with my Grandma and making those memories that I will never forget. I love her so much, and she is one of the most amazing women I know. My weekend was full of great times and great memories. Thanks so much to Eric and Melyssa for allowing me to share in there amazing day.

Rainy Sunday

As we were walking out of sacrament meeting we realized the down pour that was taking place outside...Our buliding is about 100 yards away from our apartment (just to give perspective) and we walk to church every Sunday. Debating whether or not we'd wait the rain out we decided to make a run for it and this was the result of walking home...

If you look closely you can see the beads of water on Julius's shirt. My hair was soaked along with my scriptures...

We laughed the entire way home.

Memory Bandwagon

I am jumping on the memory bandwagon post. I think it is fun to reminisce! 1. Leave a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember! 2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. EVERYBODY PLAY! I want to see what memories are out there!!

Moab 2

This picture doesn't give the justice of feeling like the Jeep was going to flip backwards. I don't remember how many times Julius tried to console my anxieties and insercurites about how unsafe I thought the jeeps were.
Yeah....we made it to the top safe and sound

He thought he was sooo cool

Stuck?

Moab

Earlier this year in March we went to Moab, Utah where Julius' company rented Jeeps for everyone to go off-roading and have some much needed fun after 2 days of conferences. It took me a while to calm my nerves of climbing rock, and feeling like the Jeep was going to flip. Once the fear was gone we had a blast...

Carvan of Jeeps...

Before the nerves kicked in

aghh!!!

Cottonwood Canyon

My friend Dani and I decided to go hiking up Cottonwood Canyon. Once we reached the mouth of the Canyon we drove another 9 miles up the mountain to get to Donut Falls. It was about 8:45 once we finally got out of the car and onto the trail. It was a bit chilly to say the least until about 9:30ish. We had some difficulties but once we found the right trail everything else fell into place...Dani made a slideshow of our adventurous hike...so go check it out

More Utah Lake

A day at the Lake. One of Julius' friends Cole called him up on a friday and asked us if we wanted to go out on the lake. Kind of late notice, but there was no way we could pass up an oppurtunity like this...
