How long?
Today someone asked me how long I've been married...And I had to think about it but i figured it out lol and it's been 1 year and 4 months. In the grand scheme of all things I know it's not that long, but I'm amazed how fast it's gone. So with that I was just reminiscing of how Julius and I first met, and our very first date which happened to be longboarding...and oh what a night to remember having never been on a longboard before looking down this steep hill with a pair of shorts on and some flip-flop (definitely not longboarding attire). Needless to say I couldn't resist the offer any longer when Julius said, "I'll hold your hand the whole way down. You have nothing to worry about" How could I have possibly turned that offer down....And here we are 1 year 4 months later...
So this was the hill...

Home for the Holidays
This year julius and I were lucky enough to make it home for Christmas, and we had such an amazing time spending time in Keller (where my family lives) and in Spring (where julius' parents live). We loved each minute we were in Texas. It is always so great being with family and making memories.
Other than that we had a GREAT time in Spring. Christmas Eve was especially fun because we went over Julius' Aunt's home and had dinner and roll-played the nativity. Mom (Gillmore) read a version of the nativity I will never forget the amount of detail and research she put into the story made it absoultely amazing and made me appreciate and be able to understand it better. Thanks Mom.

Our time went to quick in Spring, but Julius and I enjoyed our time there and loved being able to spend it with his Parents, Rachel, Grandma Cooper and of course Scruffy!!!

While we were in Spring one Julius' friends he meet on his mission came to stay with all of us for Christmas Eve and Christmas. We like to call her Grandma Cooper because she is like a Grandma to both Julius and myself. We felt to privledged to have her there with us, and so grateful she made the sacrafice to come. WE LOVE YOU Grandma!!!
We had a virtual Christmas in Spring which turned out so well. Rachel (Julius' sister) wasn't able to make it down to Texas so over a web-cam we opened presents with her. It wasn't quite the same, but on the other hand it was soooo fun and neat to be able see her open her own presents.
Then we were off to my parents for the duration of our trip. It was great being home again and seeing old friends. Genn and Colton came the same day we arrived back in Keller suprising my Dad. It was awesome he had NO clue they were coming, so it was just great seeing his reaction and disbelief they were actually in Texas. So FUN!
Other than that we had a blast just being in Keller and hanging out pretty much. I love my family and am so grateful for loving parents who are the most amazing examples to me. I love them with all my heart along with Genn, Robbie and Tyler. They're the best syblings EVER!
And here are some of our pictures from the HOLIDAY!!!
