So this year for our Christmas Tree we decided to get a real one. Our friends Bryan and Susie always go up into the mountains to cut their tree down, so we thought it'd be fun to do so as well...And Oh what fun it was...It was goregous. The tree's were covered with fresh snow and it was the perfect way to start off our Holiday fun :)
This monster of a tree took FOR-EVER to cut down...and once the boys finally got it to "timber" it feel the wrong way and broke the top :(
...so 2 hours of chopping for NOTHING as well as breaking the axe. thank goodness we had our saw
And this is our TREE...we love and it fits perfectly in our home :)

How fun to have snow during the holidays! I think you still should've gone with the first tree. I would've loved to see the posts after trying to get the sucker home and up and decorated. :) I miss having a real tree. After years of Goran stressing out over having to get a real tree to sit in the stand straight and keeping it alive I gave in to having a more peaceful less stressful Christmas by settling for a fake tree. But sometimes I really miss just going out and choppin my own down and haulin it home. :) I hope you guys have a wonderful Christmas.
